A message from Linda Hudson.
Welcome to the BAE Systems, Inc. careers Web site. Congratulations on your decision to consider a career with one of the top defense, security and aerospace companies in the world. As a part of our U.S.-headquartered corporation, you would be joining an international team that is over 39,000 employees strong, with more than 130 locations around the world.
Our global footprint and diversified portfolio of products and services provide us entry into markets that many of our competitors only dream of, affording our employees an unparalleled breadth of career choices. Whether the employment you seek is technical or nontechnical, on the manufacturing floor or in the corporate head offices, you will find BAE Systems is rich with opportunity.
We recognize that our employees are at the heart of our success. That’s why we believe strongly in investing in and developing their technical and leadership skills. To continue to succeed we need the right people in the right positions. As a top technology company and the number two defense contractor in the world, we are looking for employees with a strong commitment to ethical conduct and a passion to be the best of the best.
At BAE Systems, employees come to work each day knowing that what they do matters. The men and women of our armed forces, intelligence communities, government agencies and first responders, entrust their lives to our products every day. And our local communities count on our enthusiastic support though contributions and employee volunteerism.
One of the competitive advantages of an organization such as ours is our diversity – of people, of places, and of products. Our differences make us stronger, but it’s the values we share – being trusted, innovative and bold – that ensure we are working together effectively, toward a common goal.
Employees on the BAE Systems team quickly learn that just meeting financial goals and performing to expectations isn’t enough. Here, we talk about Total Performance. Yes, Total Performance includes meeting financial objectives, but it also means focusing on our customer, concentrating on program execution, and acting responsibly. We behave ethically and watch out for each other’s safety. Here, the way we do things is every bit as important as the results we achieve.
At BAE Systems we’re not content to rest on our laurels and celebrate past successes. We continue to pursue new business aggressively, to push the boundaries of technology and new thinking, and to provide careers that are the most challenging, satisfying and rewarding in our industry.
I invite you to take a closer look at BAE Systems. I know that you will like what you see.
